14/65 – Strawberry Fields Forever – (Morrison Berries)
Grandma used to say that anything worth having is worth waiting for.
The weather has been a wee bit uncooperative this year so we are a few days behind but when the strawberries are ready in just a few days, it will all be worth the wait!
Milli and I visited our friends Emily, Craig and Levi on Saturday and were treated to a fun chat in the strawberry field and the best milkshake either of us has ever had.
Emily joins us on the podcast this week to talk all things strawberries, She shares a great story of the time her recently wed mother arrived home one evening in the spring of 1984, only to be surprised by the sight of her new husband in the fields, planting strawberries … and some really fun strawberry trivia too.
