20/65 – Eat Local Huron & Meeting Place Organic Farm
I thought about calling this blog post E i E i O – EAT Local, IT’s EASY & IDEAL (& sometimes) ORGANIC.
Then I took a few minutes to overthink it … and if you went back to look at it because you were all … “Huh?” … that’s why I decided not too.

I first met Chris Spaleta several years ago … 2013 I think, while doing a play with Goderich Little Theatre. He’s a wonderful actor and these days he spends his time being a husband and father, a writer, farmer and is the Executive Director of Eat Local Huron.
The McQuail name has been part of our community for decades and for some reason we’ve run into Katrina McQuail a number of times in recent months. It was a bit of an “aha” moment when I realized she was Tony and Fran’s daughter. Tony and Fran started Meeting Place Organic Farm in 1973.
To find out more about these two friends and the journey that led to their lives in farming and with Eat Local Huron … I’m going to make you listen to the podcast.
