21/65 – Loreena McKennitt
We are publishing our photoblog a little later this week so that week can include images taken at Loreena’s appearance at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival on Saturday (12th).
Gold, platinum and multi platinum sales … awards in 15 countries on 4 different continents … Juno Awards, Grammy nominations, 14 million records sold and an inductee this year into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The podcast references her appearance in Goderich which of course has passed but there’s still lots of great conversation there about her life in music, where it all started, her influences and her plans for the next few months which include an appearance at Summerfolk in Owen Sound on August 18th.
