Who IS this TYMO?
Well…I have been a fan of music since I was a kid. My 1st ever trip INTO Rock n Roll and Classic Hits was through my brother. I was maybe 7…he was 4 years older than me and we got Walkmans for Christmas! Being 7…I had no tapes top play (yeah I AM that old…cassette tapes??) so my brother said here and tossed me a tape! I slipped it in and the rest was history! I hit play on what would be my introduction to music! Haven’t looked back since!
My love of music turned me on to READING about music! I must have read every artist’s biography since and I love to get into their lives, their music, their history into ROCK! I’d bet I have read 50 bios from artists! So THAT is how my love of music started…and it has been a rocky (forgive the pun) road ever since!
Oh…and so you know…that cassette that my brother tossed me that fateful day was…Van Halen – Women and Children First! Not a bad way to get introduced into music hey?
20 legendary Classic Rock songs and their stories. Maybe a few of my own as well, thrown in for good measure!
He dives DEEP into the history behind the music! How did these songs get written…how did the bands get together…what broke them up!? If you LOVE the music…you will learn everything behind the songs and bands that you love SO much!
Example: What song broke up Van Halen? What band got together even before they knew how to play ANY of their instruments?! (See? I won’t leave ya hanging…it was JUMP! and the band was U2!)
So…crack a cold one…put your feet up and learn as you go…about the music that helped provide a soundtrack to your life!

He would REALLY love to hear some ideas from you! He got an email asking about doing a Top 20 on bands that are trios! Yeah…think RUSH! So? Maybe it is a list of 20 songs that YOU heard at EVERY house party you have ever been to?
